Dear members and partners of the Movement,
We are excited to share great news! The Movement for Childbirth Autonomy is organizing its Grand Gathering on February 7 and 8 at the Maison d’Haïti in Montreal (Women and Gender Equality Canada funds this project).
This exceptional event will be much more than a meeting: it will be a space to recharge, reflect together, and nurture our collective strength!
For over a year, we have shared a journey through extensive strategic reflection, the integration of a gender-based analysis (GBA+), a regional tour, and an inspiring look back at the Movement’s 30-year history. The Grand Gathering will bring this process to a beautiful close! It will also open a new phase of our future demands.
During these two days, we invite you to:
- Spaces for sharing and expressing experiences during the perinatal period.
- Participatory and interactive workshops to reflect, build connections, and mobilize our strengths.
- Strategic discussions around the future guidelines and upcoming demands.
- And of course, the celebration of the Movement’s 30th anniversary: a powerful moment to honor our history and imagine what’s next.
The full program of workshops and conferences will be unveiled shortly. What we can already assure you: rich moments of exchange, concrete tools, and a warm atmosphere that reflects the diversity and strength of our community.
