Roxanne Lorrain’s Departure: Roxanne Lorrain has been involved in the Movement as an activist and then a worker since the birth of her daughter more than ten years ago. After four years as co-coordinator, we thank her for her commitment, as she is taking a year without pay to begin medical studies. Roxanne’s passion and ability to build relationships have been invaluable to our cause. We wish her much success in her studies and look forward to counting her as an ally in the medical world.
25th Anniversary of Midwifery Legalization: This September 24th, we celebrated 25 years since the legalization of the midwifery profession! A milestone that highlights our ongoing fight for accessible health care adapted to pregnant people’s needs.
